Join me on 7/9/2013 with one of the most sought after authorities on single malt Scotch whisky, Ed Kohl of the Chieftain’s Independent Bottling Company. Ed will take the class through his newest hand-selected rare cask bottling’s from Chieftain’s (5 total) and a single malt from Kilchoman, Islay’s newest distillery.
The Keepers of the Quaich is a Society at the heart of the Scotch Whisky industry. It was founded by the main companies in the industry with the purpose of promoting the heritage and quality of Scotch Whisky on an international level through its members in 83 countries, and Ed Kohl is one of its newest esteemed members. Membership is strictly by invitation only, so there is no applying for this honorable bestowment.
Anyone who has attended a single malt Scotch whisky class hosted by Ed Kohl knows that his knowledge of the whisky making process, maturation and industry is beyond exceptional and entertaining. Ed brings not only his undying passion for everything whisky but his humor makes the class experience that more enjoyable. For years Ed has taken me and many others on a journey through the history and evolution of single malts and now it is your turn to join us and start your own journey.

Being held at the Wildwood Town Center, our biggest event of the year outside of our walls benefits Circle of Concern, a local food bank in Valley Park. Come taste over 700 different wines, spirits and beers for a good cause. Food will be provided and our silent auctions has some awesome items this year.
