Glayva Scottish Whisky Liqueur

Glayva has not been in the Missouri market for over 4-5 years now but has finally made a very welcomed return for great customers.

“Glayva is a blend of the finest Scotch malt whisky and exotic ingredients from around the world. An exotic fusion of the finest aged Scotch malt whiskies, a carefully selected range of spices, Mediterranean tangerines, cinnamon, almonds and honey.

Surprisingly smooth and sweet, Glayva tantalizes the palate. It’s a taste that has won the prestigious IWSC Award for Best Liqueur an impressive 5 times.

Crafted by Edinburgh whisky merchant Ronald Morrison, the recipe remains unchanged from the day it was first created in 1947.

Glayva, translates in Gaelic to “very good” – the words spoken by Morrison’s warehouseman upon tasting the liquid.” – per the Glayva website

Spirits of St. Louis Vermont Night

“Vermont Night is our oak aged Whiskey liqueur, sweetened with Vermont maple syrup.

In 2010 it won a Silver Medal at the ADI Conference, and it 2011 it won a Gold Medal and Best of Category.  (This is a seasonal liqueur, and is available around the holiday season.)” – per the Square One Brewery website

J.J. Neukomm Malt Whiskey – J.J. Neukomm Whiskey is an American malt whiskey, made with cherry wood smoked malt and aged in Midwest made oak barrels.

In 2011 it won a Silver Medal at the American Distillers Conference (ADI). In 2012 it won a Bronze Medal in the Smoked Whiskey category.  In 2012, the Beverage Testing Institute reviewed the J.J. Neukomm Whiskey and it scored a 93 awarding it a Gold Medal and was described as “exotically interesting”.

Island Time Amber Rum – made from 100% gold cane syrup molasses directly from the cane fields of Louisiana.

Regatta Bay Gin – uses 9 different botanicals including hops for balance in creating this low juniper and higher citrus flavored gin.

Agave Blue – made from agave nectar imported from the Tequila region of Mexico. It is the second spirit of its type produced in the United States.  Ours is a Reposado spirit, aged a minimum of 8 weeks in our used whiskey barrels.

Midwest Wheat Vodka – made with Midwest grown wheat. It is distilled 9 times and cold filtered twice.  The result is a smooth, drinkable vodka with a hint of sweetness on the finish.

Grand Marnier Quintessence Liqueur

New to Lukas Wine & Spirits, Grand Marnier Quintessence Liqueur!

“Created in 2011, the Cognacs used to create Quintessence are sourced from Grand Champagne, the most prestigious cru zone in the Cognac region and from the private reserves of the Marnier-Lapostolle family. The age of these cognacs is from 25 to 100 years and have been carefully selected from the Grand Marnier Cellar Master, Patrick Raguenaud. Specifically selecting our 1906 Grande Champagne and the 1955 Grande Champagne for the blend. Paradis is a special cellar where all our extra old cognacs are stored. In order to preserve absolute quality from the vintage, the cognac is actually taken out of the barrel after reaching maturity and put in large glass containers and then transferred to the Paradis Cellar. The oldest of our Paradis cognacs is 1875.

Grand Marnier has used the same bitter Bigaradia oranges selected for all of the brand’s marques. However, to produce Quintessence, a unique, exacting and time-honored Marnier recipe, called “double parfum,” has been implemented. This perfume is very delicate, subtle, fresh and richer than the traditional perfume. To create the “double parfum,” orange peels are macerated with the perfume of the first distillation. This is followed by a second distillation to further refine the flavor and produce the final result: an amazingly tantalizing and delicious flavor.

Finally, the Cognacs, “double parfum” of orange and sugar are blended together to create the perfect balance and elicit the most beguiling flavor. This is followed by the “marriage time” as the blend ages in small French oak casks. At the end of this marrying period (12 months), the cognac and the perfume are judged to have reached the perfect harmony, balance and the quintessential taste.” – per Grand Marnier

“Made from sun-drenched fruits, Wolfberger eaux-de-vie are made in strict accordance with traditional small-sclae distilling methods which have been handed down from generation to generation (since 1874). The fruits are carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. Another characteristic of the distillery is the impressive wide variety it has to offer, with 28 eaux-de-vie made from fruits and wild berries to choose from.

This particular fresh and light liqueur offers fragrant passion fruit, litchi and rose petal aromas. Luscious litchi and tropical fruit flavors, violet, rose-petals and spices, nutty finish.
