This past Friday, we announced our plans for the 2014 release of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout and its variants on Friday, 11/28.  We are still proceeding as laid out in our original post.  (if you wish to read it, here is the link)


Over the weekend, we had some customers raise some interesting and serious questions involving BCS.  Here are a few questions and answers to hopefully clear up some confusion:

What if the first person in line wants to buy 45 tickets?  Or someone wants to buy a dozen tickets?

-We will cap each person at TWO tickets they are able to purchase. Remember, you can purchase two tickets but if your second cannot attend, you will only be able to purchase ONE allotment of BCS.

How exactly will I receive my BCS bottles?

-If you are able to purchase a ticket, your receipt will act as your confirmation towards purchase of the BCS bottles.  Simply hang on to your receipt and when you wish to purchase your bottles, we will have a station set up where you can redeem your receipt.  (we will keep a second copy here for our own records to check customers in for the tasting.)

If I’m able to attend the tasting, and wish to potentially purchase more than my allotment, is that allowed?

-At 5:00 when the tasting becomes open to the public, the customers waiting in line will have an opportunity to purchase the remaining BCS.  However, you are welcome to get in the line and take any chances for leftover bottles after 5:00.
