New Beer 5/15/15

Got some catching up to do. Here’s what’s arrived in this week…

4 Hands Opus 22oz
Opus is a saison brewed with tea and fruit. The perfect accompaniment to the warmer months, this farmhouse style has a bright, citrusy aroma with notes of tea and spice. Opus pours golden in color with a firm white head.

4 Hands City of Dreams 22oz
City of Dreams is a generously-hopped American Pale Ale. El Dorado, Centennial, and Amarillo hops lend this beer a bright, citrusy aroma with hints of tropical fruit. These mouthwatering hops are balanced by a smooth malt base, resulting in a flavorful and well-rounded summer beer.

Boulevard Hibiscus Gose 6pk
Our version of an unusual, yet resurgent, beer style. It pays tribute to the pleasantly sour, slightly salty wheat beers that originated in Goslar and became popular in Leipzig, Germany around the late 1800’s. A great introductory sour beer, Hibiscus Gose receives coriander and sea salt during boiling, then we steep dried hibiscus flowers at the end to create a vibrant pink hue (really, though, it’s pink!). The result is a tangy, sweet and sour ale with a refreshing citrus character.

Stone Pale Ale 2.0 6pk
This decidedly American West Coast pale ale represents the next chapter in our brewing story. Showcasing the full essence of vivid Mandarina Bavaria hops plucked from the storied fields of Germany, it presents bright flavors of peach and orange against a crisp, spicy, biscuity backdrop. We’re glad you’re with us on this journey!

Stone Ruination 2.0 6pk
Stone Ruination IPA was the first full-time brewed and bottled West Coast double IPA on the planet. As craft beer has evolved over the years, so too have techniques for maximizing hop flavors and aromas. For the second incarnation of our groundbreaking India pale ale, we employed dry hopping and hop bursting to squeeze every last drop of piney, citrusy, tropical essence from the hops that give this beer its incredible character. We’ve also updated the name to reflect the imperial-level intensity that’s evident in every sip. Join us in cheering this, the second stanza in our “Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop.”

Charleville Tripel Wit 4pk
A beer experience with a true distinction, our Triple wit is a unique bottle conditioned Belgian style ale. Made from two row barley, white wheat and rolled oats. To compliment the satiating taste only found by using a traditional top fermenting yeast, coriander and oranges are added. This addition during the brewing process lends to the delicate balance of flavors between the malt hops and yeast.

Charleville Barleywine 4pk
Sip, Sit or Stand. The choice is yours, with one thing for certain, age defines grace. Our Barleywine style ale has proved to be no exception to this rule. Two Row Barley, Crystal malt, and Munich malt all prepare the canvas for an entourage of hops that will enlighten your pallet. Enjoy today and Savor tomorrow.

Alpha Pop-Mob-Ale 22oz
“I scream, you scream, the kids cream! For Brett Cream! This Creamy ymmy brew is cruising in the neighborhood waiting ofr all you sipsters to come get a taste shove this down your throat!

New Belgium Lips of Faith Pear Ginger Beer 22oz
Mix your own adventure this summer with PEAR GINGER BEER . Our latest Lips of Faith release updates the Victorian-era ginger beer with whimsical additions of pear and lemon peel, creating a zesty, invigorating summer sipper crafted for beer glasses and mixologists’ cocktail shakers alike. Warming, spicy ginger punctuates a lively wash of sunny lemon, pear and bready white wheat for a sip that starts sweet, but finishes with just the right amount of heat. Drink it straight, no chaser, or put a new spin on a classic gimlet—either way, shake it up this season with Pear Ginger Beer.

Left Hand Nitro Wake Up Dead 4pk
Good Morning. You’ve woken up dead. You’re in ruins. But don’t be discouraged. Here’s a black ale to brighten your day. Wake Up Dead lurks in our cellars for over 4 months before being unleashed. Hints of raisins, black licorice, coffee and dark chocolate are followed by earthy, herbal hop notes. Any apprehensions about the rest of your day are quickly forgotten, for whatever the mind expects, it finds.

Free State Dirty Kanza 6pk
This ale/lager hybrid uses a lager yeast, but ferments at temperatures more typical of an ale. It then undergoes an extended period of conditioning, or lagering. The resulting beer is a crisp, refreshing, light-bodied, slightly hoppy, straw-colored beer with significant carbonation. Hopped with German Saphir hops that contribute a slight spiciness and herbal edge.
