New Beers!!! Ballast Point, Tallgrass and Firestone Walker

Firestone Walker Oak Toberfest

Oaktoberfest12oz.png

Inspired by our home town of Paso Robles (Pass of the Oaks). A proper German Märzen bier.  Traditional imported malts offer subtle honey-like aromas with hints of Noble hop spice.  The stars of this brew are the imported Pilsner and Vienna malts that offer malty sweetness that carry through to the end.  German Hallertau hops add rich Noble hop character to balance this exceptional Marzen.  True to Oktoberfest custom, this beer only makes its debut in September and October to celebrate the age-old German tradition.

A huge, hoppy brew that will test your sea legs.
Our Dorado Double IPA immediately hooks you with massive hops that never stop. Mash hopping, kettle hopping and dry hopping makes this beer a serious hop lover’s prize catch. It’s an amazingly drinkable, award-winning beer that’s as beautifully balanced as it is big.

Tallgrass Flyin Hawaiian Pineapple Double IPA

12.jpg

Soaring in at 8.4%, the Flyin’ Hawaiian Double IPA is brewed with Columbus, Falconer’s Flight, Pacific Gem and Mandarina Bavaria hops, creating an eruption of citrus, dark berries and tropical flavors with earthy and pine notes. A burst of fresh pineapple purée enhances the hops with an extra layer of tropical sweetness, and the simple malt bill of 2-Row, C20 and Cara-Pils allows the hops to shine.

Why the Flyin’ Hawaiian? The name was first used for one of our cellarmen’s cask beers. When our founder caught wind of the name, it was just too good to not slap on a can, and it had to be appropriated for our brewmaster’s new double IPA. Crack it open and bask in the tropical hoppy goodness.
