Pappy Van Winkle/Antique Collection Release Details-PLEASE READ!

After months of heated arguments, sound debates and eager anticipation, we have finally decided on a release process for bottles from the 2016 release of Pappy Van Winkle/Antique Collection Whiskeys.

Beginning on Saturday morning, January 14th at 9:00 a.m., we will have registration open into the lottery release for these highly sought after Whiskeys. Registration will continue until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31st when the store closes. This will give customers 17 days to come in and sign up. The drawing will be done on Monday, February 6th with emails going out that day.

Each customer will get ONE free entry into the lottery, which will be kept on a spreadsheet to avoid possible conflicts*. This year will be a little different than previous years; customers will be able to purchase additional entries for $5 a piece, with all ticket sales being donated to the Eye Care Charity of Mid-America. Please understand that in this lottery, one entry is as good as 100. If your name is pulled for a bottle, you will no longer be eligible to win additional bottles.

When you come in to sign up, we will have a rules and regulations sheet available upon request with all the details regrading this year’s lottery.

Bottles to be released:

-Thomas H Handy Rye, $109.99.
-Old Rip Van Winkle 10yr, $74.99.
-Van Winkle Family Reserve 12yr, $89.99.
-Pappy Van Winkle 20yr, $209.99
-Pappy Van Winkle 23yr, $399.99.
-William Larue Weller, $109.99.
-Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch 2016, $119.99.

*The only way to sign up and purchase additional tickets will be in store. No sales will be done online. Each person will be allowed to enter themselves into the lottery, but cannot act as a proxy for registration or possible pickup for another individual. If we discover someone attempting to sign up multiple times or people without purchasing additional tickets, they will be disqualified from the lottery.

If your name is selected, and you are emailed, you will have one week to pick up your bottle. (hint; make sure to check your spam/junk folder just in case) As stated previously, YOU must be the one to come pick up your bottle. No one else will be allowed to. If someone declines their bottle, or does not pick it up within the allotted week, another name will be drawn at random. We will send out a notice once the lottery is complete and all bottles have been spoken for.

Lukas Wine & Spirits will not be held responsible for extenuating circumstances such as, but not limited to: illegible email addresses, incorrect email addresses, delivery of email into spam/junk folder, acts of God. etc. We reserve the right to alter the conditions of this lottery at any point.
