*Special In-Store Release this Saturday* Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon Lukas Store Pick!

For all of you eagerly anticipating its release, the wait is over! That’s right, we have our own Single Barrel Store Pick of Blanton’s Bourbon!

This Saturday (11/4) at 1 PM we will release 30 bottles, no more, to the shelf. The first 30 customers to ask at or after 1 PM will receive a bottle, limit one per customer, couple or family.

We will be slowly releasing this new barrel to the public throughout the holiday season, so keep an eye on the blog and social media for future updates regarding public releases.

Cheers,

Ver disappointed that you did not limit this to “one per customer, couple or family” today. I got there a few minutes late to find out you let people go through the line multiple times.

    • Bernie,

I apologize about any inconvenience involving today’s release of our Single Barrel Blanton’s. When we started the release at 1:00, there were 12-15 people in line waiting for a bottle. After everyone had passed through, we waited a few additional minutes to see if anyone else would be coming in. After that time had elapsed, we decided to be nice and let the customers who had hung around have another pass.
Even after this, I believe we didn’t officially sell out of this release until at least 15 minutes beyond 1:00.
It seems no matter how we do these releases, someone will walk away disappointed. Please understand that we make every effort to make these releases work as easy as possible, and sometimes will make snap judgments based on turnout or interest.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

      • I was there at 1:15. It seems that the reasonable thing would have been to wait more than minutes, imo. That’s hardly a product that you would have had trouble with it sitting on shelves.
