I love Kona Brewing Company Golden Ale. I recently discovered they produce multiple other beers. Do you carry individual bottles of their beer? If so what beers? Thank you!

  2. JEREMY BROWN says:

I have a kegerator and was wondering if there was a time limit for renting a 1/6 barrel full of something from you? It may take me 2 months to finish one and i know some places charge extra if you have it out over a certain length of time.

  3. JAMES M ORTBALS says:

Do you have Des Clutes, Fresh Squeezed IPA in stock I recently enjoyed a pint of draft at a local restaurant (Tuckers).
Also, do you know about the drinkable establishment down the street (west, same side)?

  4. Garrett says:

I had a friend send some beer over the holidays from Trillium Brewing Company out of Boston (his favorite Boston brewery) and the Double Dry Hopped Melcher Street IPA was out of this world. Just curious if you guys carry anything from Trillium or are open to ordering some in the future? I seriously doubt these would last long on the shelves in STL/KC.

    • Garrett,

Unfortunately, Trillium isn’t available to us in Missouri. While we have heard great things about the beer, it is almost impossible to find that beer with regularity even in its home markets.

    • Dave,

      As per your Beer requests:

-Earthbound and Standard are currently draft only options, and we have limited of no access to their selections.

-We do stock Bur Oak Beers. Is there are a particular one you are looking for?

  5. Andre Silvanovich says:

Do you have any Atwater Brewery products? My wife and I had Atwater Vanilla Java Porter while in Detroit last week and it was very good. Thank you.

    • Jason,

Yuengling is not available in Missouri. The closest places you will find it is in Nashville or Memphis, TN. They do not distribute in Missouri and we have no ability to order it.

    • Mark,

Our distributor for Leinenkugel’s will only order the original in a 12 pack and by the pallet when requested by retailers. At moment, we do not have any available but will hopefully see some this summer.

    • Megan,

Unfortunately the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is not distributed in Missouri. Until one of local distributors agrees to sell the product, we have no ability to order it.

    • Jon Schulte says:

Great stuff. I have friends who frequent KY for work and they take my orders….would recommend BB Holidale when available.

  6. Carey Lohman says:

Is there any way to get Blue Moon Summer Wheat Ale in a 6 or 12 pack instead of in the summer collection?

    • Carey,

I apologize for the delay. As of now we have not seen the Summer Wheat in anything other than the mixed packs. If it is to be released on its own, that would be one of the next seasonals we see.

  7. Holly says:

Will you carry Leinenkugel’s Canoe Paddler? I haven’t found it yet this year other than in their variety packs.

    • Holly,

I apologize about the delay. We never saw the Leine Canoe Paddler this year as our distributor only shipped the citrus shandies and the Biergarten tart. At this point, we probably won’t see it this year.

  8. Ken says:

Is is possible to order some Mackeson Stout? It was produced in Ohio but is no longer, but I know they still make it in some place.

    • Dale,

Sorry to say, but we have not had that in stock since late last year. That particular beer was, to our knowledge, a one time collaboration between New Belgium and Perennial. While kegs of it might pop up from time to time, no more bottles are available.

    • Darin,

As of this post, we currently have in stock from Perennial:

      Saison De Lis

Unfortunately most of the Perennial brews sell out within days of their release. We do update our social media when new releases happen, but again, they usually sell fast.

  9. Cole says:

Do you or will you soon be carrying Carlow Brewing Co aka “O’Hara’s” or Porterhouse Brewing Co beer? Also do you know if you will be receiving any Irish beer variety packs soon?

    • Cole,

Sorry to say, but O’Hara’s is not longer available in our market and we have never been approached about Porterhouse Brewing. Currently the only Irish Beer variety pack we have is a Guinness assortment of styles, and we should see the Guinness/Harp/Smithwick’s variety pack before March.

    • Christina,

We do regularly stock Victoria in both cans and bottles. If you were looking for a specific quantity, we’d be happy to set some aside for you. Please give us a call at 636-227-4543 to make arrangements.

  10. I have friends anniversary coming later this summer. They are beer connoisseurs and I would love to surprise them with a large variety of local craft and micro brewery beers. I’m thinking of about a $100 budget. Can I do cases with a variety of different beers?

    • Absolutely! Our “make your own” section allows you to purchase beers by the individual bottle or can, ranging all over in price.
Next time you make it in someone in our beer department will help you assemble your cases.

      • that’s awesome…it will be later this summer before I need them but I’m thrilled to know I can get a great selection. I’ll probably keep a few for myself.

  11. Jessica Koval says:

Do you carry Sprecher beer? I am specifically looking for a beer from Sprecher called the “Doppelbock” and it is almost impossible to find unless you are in the northern states.

    • Jessica,

Sorry to say, but Sprecher is not available to us in Missouri. We have heard nothing but great things about the beer, and we occasionally see their soda around the area, but we cannot order the beer. We do have some other Dopplebocks we’d be happy to recommend.

  12. Matt says:

Do you guys have sale Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout produced by the Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co.

  13. andrea says:

Hi!!! I am making a pretty large beer basket as a gift for Christmas. How large is you selection and variety of individual bottles and cans?

    • Andrea,

We have the largest selection of individual cans and bottles this side of the Mississippi. Whenever you can make it out we’ll be glad to help you assemble the perfect beer basket.

  14. Alexa says:

Hi. I was wondering if by chance you had the New Beligum Salt Caramel brownie ale? It’s the ale New Beligum created with Ben and Jerrys. If you do. Do sell invidual bottles?

    • April,

We have not seen the Charleville Witch’s Brew yet this season. At this point we do not know if we will see it this season. We still have plenty of other pumpkin beers left though.

    • Boyd,

Sorry to say, but the only way we see the Leinenkugel Red, Creamy Dark and Original is when it comes available in sampler packs. Our distributor only consistently carries the Sunset Wheat, Honey Wheat, Berry Weiss and whatever current seasonal is available. We would love to carry the other styles though.

  15. Chris says:

Have you guys been able to get your hands on It’s Not Your Father’s Root Beer from Small Town Brewery? If not do you have any plans on getting any in the near future?

    • Chris,

We are expecting the Not Your Father’s Root Beer to hit Missouri sometime in mid to late July, however it is currently not available. We do stock the Root Cellars RowHard Root Beer at moment.

      • Hank,

The Not Your Father’s Root Beer is not yet available in Missouri. We still have no definite ETA from our distributor. Please watch our website or social media for any announcements regarding the release.

  16. Bill says:

Do you carry Savannah Brown Ale from the Coastal Empire Brewing Co. in Savannah, GA?

Thanks, and best wishes for your new location in Ellisville!

    • Chris,

Our distributor only brings in certain styles of the Leinenkugel Beers. Creamy Dark is one that we have only seen in sampler packs, however we are exploring different ways of bringing in the styles that are not available locally.

    • Lauren,

We are expecting the Root Sellers to arrive, but not until later in the Summer. Please watch our website for any update and/or the release details for this beer.

  17. Hoosier says:

Hi Lukas Beer Department! I’m looking for some Upland Wheat Ale out of Bloomington, IN, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Do you carry it?

    • Melissa,

Lukas Wine & Spirits has not carried the O’Hara’s Irish Stout since 2011. We do carry a myriad of other Irish stouts if you’re interested.

      -Lukas Beer Department

    • Adam,

According to our inventory, the last time we sold the Fuller’s ESB was in January and have not had it since then. The best we can do is check with our local distributor who handles Fuller’s and see if it can still be ordered. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call if you would like us to attempt to order some.

  18. Joe says:

Hey I heard we can buy michelob gold here in STL now. Is this true? If so do you guys carry it? Whats the biggest amount of cans/bottles I can buy?

    • Jim,

Most recently we had the Stone Double Bastard in a 3L bottle, but have never been offered the original Arrogant Bastard in that size. If it does become available, we would certainly order one for our shelves.

  19. Will be visiting from out of state (Ohio) for Christmas and am looking forward to my annual trip to Lucas. I’m pretty familiar with Schlafly’s offerings but am curious if you have any favorites from the newer St. Louis breweries. Also, any interesting sours/farmhouse ales (St. Louis or otherwise) that you would recommend?

    • David,

We have a very nice selection of craft beers that we would be happy to recommend to you when you arrive. Whenever you do make it to Lukas, just ask to speak with someone from the Beer Department.

    • Chelsea,

We did get the Perennial Abraxas the other week and it has already been released and officially sold out. For any/all future beer releases, please make sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and get our release email’s.

      -Lukas Beer Department

    • Jean,

Unfortunately Great Lakes Brewing is not available in the state of Missouri. The closet places to acquire this particular brewery would be Chicago, IL or Paduca, KY.

      -Lukas Beer Department

  20. Kevin says:

Have you received any Stone Smoked Porter with Chocolate and Orange??? I know it’s been out for a few weeks, and I don’t recall anyone posting it had arrived.

  21. Joe says:

Budweiser has this limited edition holiday crate that I’m looking for. I was wondering if you guys have one for purchase? I’m not sure if it is a product you guys would receive to sell, but thought I’d give it a try.

  22. Joe says:

I absolutely love the pretzel beer from Shocktop. The problem is the only way to get it is by buying the entire winter variety pack. I was wondering if you guys will be putting the pretzel beer out individually so I could build my own six pack of the pretzel beer.

  23. Rod says:

Caffreys Irish Stout was available in the states about 10 years ago. I think Coors bought it out in 2003. They don’t want to distribute in the states because it would compete with Killians Irish Red. Do you have any knowledge on this, and any chance of Caffreys being available again in the states?

    • Rod,

Sorry for the delay in response.

To our knowledge, there is no current plans for Caffreys to re-enter the U.S. market, let alone Missouri. If that changes, we will gladly have it on our shelves.

  24. Jack says:

Any idea if/when you’ll be getting in the Guinness Blonde lager? I was also wondering on your selection of Irish domestics/crafts. Thanks!

    • Jack,

We do currently stock the Guinness Blonde Lager and have plenty in stock. Our selection of Irish beer is very good, but if you are looking for something in particular, do not hesitate to give us a call at 636-227-4543.

    • Andrew,

Perrin Grapefruit IPA is not available in Missouri, nor do we have the ability to order it.

As far as regular grapefruit beers, we have:

      -Stiegl Grapefruit Radler
      -Schofferhofer Grapefruit Radler

There might be other other seasonals that use grapefruit, but you’ll have to watch the website for their release details.

  25. Andrew says:

Do you have Sam Adams Dunkelweizen, third voyage, Tasman red, grumpy monk or any of those of specialty Sam Adams beers?

Do you also have urban chestnut dunkelganger?

Do you also have Stiegl Radler?

    • Andrew,

      As per your requests:

-The Sam Adams Dunkelweizen, Tasman Red, Third Voyage and Grumpy Monk were either seasonals or one time releases that we have no current availability to order.
-The Urban Chestnut Dunkelganger is currently out of rotation according to our distributor.
-We do have Stiegl Radler in stock in both cans and bottles.

  26. Justin says:

Will you be getting any Goose Island BCBS Vanilla Rye this year (or any of the other specialty varieties)? Thanks!

    • Justin,

We are expecting a decent amount of the Goose Island BCS and its flavor variants to be released in November. However, because of its extremely limited nature, we will not be taking any type of early reservation. When we get closer to its release and we have an idea on how much we will be receiving, we will announce details on our website.

  27. David Wolfersberger says:

The other day a friend and I were talking about beer glasses. I know that particular beers are better when a certain type of glass is used – stein, mug, tulip, pilsner, etc. I became very aware of this when I was spending a lot of time in Belgium many years ago. However we do not drink that much beer at home and I don’t want to invest in a lot of different beer glasses that would probably not get used much. So, the question, what is the best type of multi-purpose beer glass that would be at least acceptable for most beers? We typically drink something like Smithwicks, Amber Bock, of course a Bud now and again.

    • David,

Based on the beers you said you typically like to enjoy, we recommend a basic pint glass. When in doubt, a pint glass is the easiest glass to enjoy a beer out of without having to have it feel “proper.”

If you decide to expand your glassware collection, a tulip glass would be necessary for a beer with a lot of aromatics, hops or complex flavors. Snifters would be great for bigger beers like Stouts or Barleywines. Mugs or Steins would be ideal for beers like American Adjunct Lagers or Pilsners.

    • Matt,

Sorry to say, but Sweetwater Brewing is not available in Missouri. We recently saw that Sweetwater has expanded distribution into Mississippi, but as of now there are no plans for the beer to enter Missouri.

  28. Kevin says:

I just read about Duvel Tripel Hop, and it’s supposed to be pretty good.. Do you carry it along with other Duvel products??

  29. ricky nelson says:

Do you carry any beer from the August Schell Brewing Company in New Ulm, Minnesota? Specifically Grain Belt Premium or Nordeast

    • Ricky,

Sorry to say, but we cannot get the August Schell beer here in Missouri. We have heard a few rumors that the brewery was looking to expand into Missouri, but as of now this is just a rumor.

  30. Koop says:

First, let me say that I love to see how interactive you are in the replies. But now to my big question. I was up in Chicago this last weekend and got to enjoy some Not Your Father’s Root Beer. I think I fell in love with this stuff. Any chance you are holding on to some?

    • Koop,

Sorry to say, but Smalltown Brewing is not available here in Missouri. Products like beer can be radically different state by state, and this is something that has not been licensed for sale in Missouri. If it does become available, we will certainly stock it.

  31. Jeff says:

Do you carry any beers produced by the Springfield Brewery ( Missouri ) Paul’s Pale Ale or Copper Creek? Thanks

    • Jeff,

Unfortunately Mothers Brewing (Springfield, MO) is not available in our area or closest surrounding counties (relative to St. Louis County). You can however find these great beers in the Ozarks, Columbia and KC.

      -Lukas Beer Department

    • Tom,

Unfortunately we do not carry the Tetley’s English Ale here at Lukas. WE do carry a myriad of other English ales that are nitrogen based though.

      -Lukas Beer Department

  32. Matt M says:

Do you carry Stormchaser IPA from Free State? I can’t get it in Indiana and am making a trip to the St. Louis area in a couple weeks, hoping you guys had it!

  33. Jay says:

The website for Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee shows that you carry their beers. I am looking for their River West Stein and their Klisch. Do you have either of those?

    • Jay,

Beers from the Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, WI come and go sporadically through our store all throughout the year. Unfortunately we do not have anything in stock from them right now. Typically we see their Holiday Ale arriving in the fall of every year.

      -Lukas Beer Department

    • Matt,

Unfortunately the Franzikaner Hefe-Weissbier was dropped by our local vendor. Actually they dumped their entire beer portfolio all together.

As of right now many of those beers that were dropped, left in limbo and frantically searching for a new vendor to distribute their products are slowly arriving back into the St. Louis area market. We know that at some point Franzikaner will be back in our market but until the supplier finds the right vendor and reapplies their product with the Missouri ATC for legality purposes, it might be awhile longer.

Trust us, as soon as this beer is back in stock, there will be an announcement on the site.

      -Lukas Beer Department

  34. Joe says:

Do you guys carry “Son of a Peach” by RJ Rockers or “Hell or High Watermelon” by 21st Amendment Brewery.

    • Joe,

As per the beers you requested:

-RJ Rockers came from a distributor that went bankrupt a few months ago. We are waiting to see if another Missouri distributor picks up the brands.
-21st Amendment Brewing is unfortunately not available in Missouri nor are we able to order it.

  35. Kevin says:

Do you have any idea when Stone Unapologetic IPA will be here?? it sounds really great, but I know it will be in limited supply. ??

  36. John says:

Will the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Sampler be available for purchase? If so, is there a target date? Lastly, could a sampler be held in reserve?

    • John,

We are expecting a VERY small amount of the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp to arrive in our store. However due to the extremely limited nature of this pack, we will not take any reservations for it.

Please watch our website as we will announce details on how to possibly attain a pack when it arrives.

  37. Mike B. says:

Hey Guys. Do you have Shiner Bock in cans? I was able to find it pretty easily in STL last year, but this year no one seems to have them.

    • Mike,

We did at one point stock Shiner Bock in cans, however due to dating issues we opted not to carry them anymore. We can check with our local distributor to see if that package is still available. Please call us if you would like us to inquire and possibly order the cans.

  38. Jenny,

Sorry to say, but we can only order Michelob Golden Light in 1/2 barrel kegs. To our knowledge, AB-InBev has no plans to release bottles or cans in the St. Louis market.

  39. BSpz says:

Your store is a good trek away from where I live, but if you are able to get Polish beers in stock, I will make the trip. Tyskie, Zywiec and Havelius are all quite good.
