North Coast Grand Cru is a brand new limited edition beer from the California brewery. It’s a Belgian ale brewed with agave nectar, and it’s sure to move fast.
Here are two new arrivals from Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, a brewery in Michigan that specializes in sour beer and farmhouse ales. Here’s how the brewery discribes these new arrivals:
E.S. Bam – Extra Special Farmhouse Ale
A Bam celebration of excess. More malt, more hops, same vivacious personality.
Luciernaga “The Firefly”
An artisan pale ale brewed in the Grand Cru tradition. Enjoy its golden effervescence and gentle hop aroma. Coriander and Grains of Paradise round out the spicy palate, melting o so softly into a silken finish of hoppiness and bliss! Make any season a celebration!
Missouri’s own Boulevard Brewing and Deschutes Brewing out of Oregon have collaborated on a new, limited edition beer, White IPA. Here’s what Boulevard has to say about it:
Expect to be greeted with bright hoppy overtones in the aroma balanced by the sage, lemongrass, and almost bubble gum fruitiness the Belgian yeast strain used for fermentation contributes. The mouthfeel of this beer will be medium bodied, but carried quickly by near effervescent carbonation. Collaboration No. 2 will finish fairly dry, but with a lingering hop flavor and bitterness reminiscent of Deschutes’ fantastic pale ales.
From Rate Beer:
Founders most complex, most innovative, most feared and yet most revered ale produced. Massive in complexity the huge malt character balances the insane amount of alpha’s used to create this monster. More IBU’s than any brewery has documented, more than you would believe and dry-hopped for twenty-six days straight with a combination of 10 hop varieties. Dangerously drinkable and deliciously evil. We dare you to dance with the Devil. 112 IBUs
