Firestone Walker Lottery at our Event!

For those who are able to make it to the Firestone Walker Release Party we announced last week, there was some confusion as to when the lottery would take place during the event.

We will start pulling names for bottles at 2:30. This gives everyone enough time to show up, grab a drink and hang out.

Tickets are still available, but going fast. Click here to purchase tickets.

Heaven Hill 27 Year Bourbon – Special Release at the Bar this Saturday 12/15/18

hh-27-mob.png

We received ONE bottle of this extremely limited bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery; makers of popular brands such as Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, Larceny, Henry McKenna and Pikesville. This was pulled from 41 barrels of pre-fire Heaven Hill Bourbon and resulted in only 3000 bottles of this product being made. Here is some more information from the distillery.

On Saturday, December 15 @ 2 PM we will be opening this bottle for by-the-pour purchase at the bar. This will strictly be first come, first serve and limited to one pour per person. The cost will be $25 per 3/4 oz pour. We will also be opening a bottle of Elijah Craig 18 Year for $15 per 1.5 oz pour while supplies last. No bottles of either product will be available for purchase.

Cheers,

new_belgium_transatlantique_kriek

For the first time in over 3 years, we have in stock the New Belgium Transatlantique Kriek.

Just in time for our featured event with New Belgium’s Lauren Limbach tomorrow, we will be releasing the beer during the event FIRST to ticket holders. After the event is over, it will make its way to the shelves. We will also have bottles of Le Terroir and La Folie available during the event.

For tickets, click here and we will see you tomorrow!

From New Belgium’s website:

“Winner of a gold medal at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival, Transatlantique Kriek begins its life in oaken vessels of Gert Christiaens’ Oud Beersel, a 130-year-old lambic brewery in the Zenne valley of Belgium – home of authentic Lambic beer. After time spent aging in wood, Oud Beersel’s lambic is blended with tart Polish cherries and shipped across the Atlantic to New Belgium. In concert with Oud Beersel’s cherry lambic, or Kriek, we blend an equal portion of golden sour ale matured for 1 – 3 years in our oak vessels called foeders. 50% Sour Golden Ale blended with 50% Traditional Cherry Lambic Ale leads to an intense cherry nose, a sour flash across the palate and a refreshing, mouthwatering finish.”
