Descriptions from New Holland:

New Holland Rye Hatter

New Holland Black Hatter
A blackened version of Mad Hatter brewed with black malt for a dark, roasty sweetness to the base of the flavor profile. Finishes with a strong Centennial hop character from dry hopping.

New Holland Farmhouse Hatter
Fermentation character from Belgian-born yeast, envelops bright hop character with a spicy, tart Farhouse funk.

Spirits Update 6/29/2011

New Items 6/29/11

Citadelle Reserve Gin

Matured for several months in old oak casks, Citadelle Reserve marvelously combines the freshness and complexity of Citadelle Gin with the refinement of old, cask-aged spirits. The cellar-master does not consider the gin ready for bottling until a perfect balance has been struck between freshness and cask flavors.

Beluga Vodka

A masterpiece in every way… Beluga’s composition is unique: not only is their malt alcohol of the most exquisite quality, and pearly artesian water, but also the diligent handiwork of past masters with their care for every detail. Not just a vodka, but an attitude towards life – one in which everything matters, everything has its place, and every deed has its special meaning.

Suntory Hibiki

Hibiki, meaning resonance in Japanese, speaks to the soul and emotions of the most discerning whisky lover. Hibiki resonates from nature, and all the subtleties found from the twenty four seasons of the old Japanese lunar calendar. Numerous types of pure single malt whiskies ageing in various types of casks, including Mizunara, a very rare Japanese oak, all combine to create a full orchestra of flavors and aromas.

High West Silver Whiskey

High West SILVER™; is remarkably versatile. Neat, on the rocks, in a classic cocktail, or wherever you’d use another “clear” spirit. Try an Old Fashioned-Old Fashioned, a Clementine, or a Silver Manhattan.

High West Double Rye!

Marriage of two straight rye whiskies that combines the feisty properties of a high rye 2-year-old and the saddle smooth richness of a 16-year-old. The 2-year-old has a 95% rye 5% barley malt mashbill. The older rye has a “barely legal” rye mashbill of 53% rye and 37% corn. The extra age and corn provides some extra sweetness to calm the “bite” of the younger rye for a relationship that works.

Plantation Rum

Dogfish Head/Epic Portamarillo

Dogfish Head and Epic Brewing’s collaboration, Portamarillo, has arrived! Here’s how they describe it:

“a collaboration, a Festive brew and the world’s first tree tomato beer. A sorta-Porter fermented with New Zealand-grown Tamarillos, which were smoked using wood chips from the sacred Pohutakawa tree (also known as the NZ Christmas tree).”
